The Bible repeatedly says that the lost truth can be restored when God comes to this earth in the flesh and that the one who restored the lost truth is our God. 2000 years ago, Jesus was born on this earth to save mankind. He was baptized at the age of 30 and preached the gospel of the new covenant during His public ministry of about three and a half years. After finishing His mission He went up to heaven. When Christ ascended to heaven, He promised to come back to this earth.  After Jesus' ascension, there were many changes on this earth. Around the end of the apostolic age, the truths of the early church began to change one after another. The church accepted human theories and traditions instead of God's laws.  In AD321 the Sabbath was abolished as Sunday became the official day of rest and worship and in AD325 the Passover was abolished at the Council of Nicaea.
