The origin of The Feast of Unleavened Bread



Ex 14:5-14  When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, “What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!” So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him... As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD...The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still..

3,500 years ago, Israelites were set free from slavery of Egypt, after keeping Passover. However, Pharaoh changed his mind; because Israelites were his slaves, that could manage whenever he wanted. So, Pharaoh chased immediately,
Israelites were in panic, and grumbled God. But God showed them a miracle of The crossing of the Red Sea, Israelites could cross and army of Egypt were buried at sea. After that, God celebrated the hardship of Exodus and established as a feast.




Lev 23:5-6  The LORD’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times. The LORD’s Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD’s Festival of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast.

God established the hardship of Exodus as a feast, and called it The Feast of Unleavened Bread. This history was fulfilled by Jesus in new testament.



Jesus fulfilled the history of old testament


Mt 27:27-50  Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him. They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand, Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said. They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the lead again and again. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him...When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothed by him there...And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

Only for us Jesus gave up everything, even his life. In the old testament, God Jehovah had set Israelites free from the Egypt through Passover, and Israelites had suffered when they had escaped from the agony land. 




Jesus' sacrifice

Like this, Jesus set us free from the death and allowed eternal life. He gave us his flesh and blood by cutting His flesh and grind His bones. To remeber God’s sacrifice, all children of God must celebrate His Festivals; Passover the new covenant, The Feast of Unleavened Bread and His resurrection. However, the world does’t know God’s law. Please examine carefully the bible and be guided to the way of salvation.

    I want to remember God's sacrifice and love by keeping Paaover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Resurrection day.

    When we celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion and death on the cross. God gives us the strength to overcome the last tribulation when we keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

The Spirit and the Bride

Many people believe there is only one God—God the Father.  I think you might think in the same way. But this idea is not based on the Bible. The Bible testifies that there is... “Our Father in heaven” (Mt 6:9) , and also that “The Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother” (Gal 4:26).
