You are the Christ, the Son of the living God
(Mt 16:13-19) When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his
disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" They replied,
"Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah
or one of the prophets."
"But what about you?" he asked. "Who
do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son
of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of
Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And
I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the
gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of
heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you
loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
2000 years ago, Jesus who is the savior in
the age of son came to this earth to give us eternal life. He fulfilled all the
prophecy in the Bible. But many people didn't recognize him as God because he
was a human being. As you can see in the verses above, Simon Peter recognized
the God who came as a man, and Jesus promised Peter the keys of the kingdom of
heaven.
The contemporary religious leaders were
proud of having much knowledge about the Bible. However, why did they not
recognize Jesus? There are two reasons: one reason is because they did not know
the Bible and other was because they did not know God.
(Jn
5:46-47) If you believed Moses, you would believe
me, for he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are
you going to believe what I say?"
Why did they not believe Jesus? It is
because they did not believe what Moses wrote which is the Bible. They seemed
to believe the Bible, but in actuality they did not.
(Jn 15:20-21) Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his
master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my
teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my
name, for they do not know the One who sent me.
Why did the people persecute the disciples
of Jesus? It was because they did not know “the one who sent me”; in other
words, it was because they did not know God. They boasted that they knew God,
but they tried to fit God into their own thoughts.
In the same way, the reason that people of
the world do not know Christ Ahnsahnghong the Savior in this age is because
they do not know the Bible and God. People who understand the Bible can realize
that 66 books of the Bible testify about Christ Ahnsahnghong who are the Spirit
and the Bride.
(Jn 5:39) You diligently study the Scriptures because
you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures
that testify about me.
Let us find out all the fulfillment of Christ
Ahnsahnghong through the Bible and believe Him. And let us say to Christ
Ahnsahnghong “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” like Apostle Peter.
If we do that, we can receive the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

ReplyDeleteGod, who is life, came to this earth as a child 2000 years ago. He was Jesus Christ. In Jesus' words "I am the life" we can find God who came to this earth in the flesh to save mankind. According to the prophecies of the Bible, Jesus is to come a second time to restore the truth of the new covenant which He established when He came to this earth the first time.
