God loves us with His hearts, soul, and mind

God loves us with His hearts, soul, and mind Luke 19:10   for the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. Hebrews 2:14-15   …He too shared in their humanity so that by his death… To seek and save His lost children God gave up all power and glory in heaven. Humbling Himself, He came as a man, being made lower than the angels (Hebrews 2:5-9), and willingly endured all kinds of pain and suffering for us. Matthew  22:34-38    Love the Lord your God with  all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’   This is the first and greatest commandment. How can we love God with all our heart? How can we love God fully?  It may seem a little vague to us, especially since we are weak sinners who may set our minds more towards worldly desires. In the bible, there is a good example of a man whom God acknowledged as one who loved God with all his heart, soul, and mind. He is  King Josiah.  (2 Kings 23:25)  When we keep the Passover just as king Josiah did, we can al

The Spirit and the Bride

Many people believe there is only one God—God the Father.  I think you might think in the same way. But this idea is not based on the Bible. The Bible testifies that there is... “Our Father in heaven” (Mt 6:9) , and also that “The Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother” (Gal 4:26). That is, there is our Mother as well as Father in heaven. The Church of God (World Mission Society Church of God, WMSCOG) believes in God the Father and God the Mother on the basis of the Bible.  Let me add some detail explanation about this: First , “Our Father in heaven” (Mt 6:9) implies us about the relationship between God and us.         - We are the children of God. Second , just as their is both father and mother who gave me birth, there has to be God the father and God the mother who gave us spiritual life.         - It is because earthly things are the copy and shadow of what is in heaven.          (Heb 8:5) Third , that's why in

The Day of Resurrection and the Ester

Through Moses, God freed the  Israelites  from Egypt's captivity and brought them out of the Egypt. When the Egyptian army pursued the  Israelites , God divided the Red Sea and let them across. The  Israelites  landed safely on the ground, but all the Egyptian troops that were chasing them buried in the Red Sea. In order to celebrate this day of power, God established 'the Day of Firstfruits', and the priest held a ceremony to wave a sheaf of the first grain, the first ripe fruit. Lev 23:9-11 The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest. He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath." The Day of Firstfruits becomes a prophecy of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Co 15:20-23  But Christ has indeed b

sacrifice of Christ, The Feast of Unleavened Bread

sacrifice of Christ, The Feast of Unleavened Bread The origin of The Feast of Unleavened Bread Ex 14:5-14   When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, “What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!” So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him... As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD...The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.. 3,500 years ago, Israelites were set free from slavery of Egypt, after keeping Passover. However, Pharaoh changed his mind; because Israelites were his slaves, that could manage whenever he wanted. So, Pharaoh chased immediately, Israelites were in panic, and grumbled God. But God showed them a miracle of The crossing of the Red Sea, Israelites could cross and army of Egypt were buried at se

Well-Dying? No! Well-Living? Yes!

Well-Dying? No! Well-Living? Yes! Do you know the meaning of Well-Dying?  Well-Dying  is a term that refers to the social trend of preparing to confront death in a calm and dignified manner, utilizing the method of educating and assisting the older generations with appropriate programs, palliative care, or hospices.  The poet Horace said "Pale Death with impartial tread beats at the poor man's cottage door and at the palaces of kings."    Everyone dies. No rich man, no king of honor, no scholar of knowledge can escape death. Many people wants to live long and to live forever, but they haven't found a way. That's why people are starting to pay attention to new interests. They began to think about how to well-die .  If there is a way to Well-Live forever , people will not choose Well-Dying.   Surprisingly, there is a "Well-Living Forever" method in the Bible. [ John 6:53-56 ] Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless
